Who We Are

Jerry and his wife Susan, retired to this area from Wisonsin, where they previously owned and operated two successful stores in Madison & Janesville Wisconsin. 

Feeling a need to service the community, Jerry emerged from retirement to open a full service Sewing Center in the Ozark Shopping Center in September of 2006.

Garry Patterson 

Garry, a Kansas native has been sewing, quilting, cross-stitching, crocheting, and knitting since he was approximately 10 years old. His Mother and her 1950 Singer Asian treadle machine fascinated him into purchasing his first sewing machine at Gibson’s Discount Store. Garry is now the proud owner of 5 sewing machines, 1 embroidery machine and 1 serger. Garry’s goal is making your next project easy and fun, as well as to inspire and motivate you to fun-filled stitching.

Garry teaches as well as moderates several clubs and classes at the sewing center. These range from individual to group instructions.

Besides Managing and everyday store duties, Garry continues to build upon his education and knowledge of machines and software. His goal: to better serve our Customers.
